my weight - ECH!!!

OK, so I've been really bad about eating lately. Eating so much and such junk food. In rebellion I suppose. I hate the "ideal" size society projects about women's bodies. That being said I still think there is a weight that we all feel good at. I'm not there. I'm about 15-20 lbs over that.

So, my birthday is Labor Day weekend. I'm going to set a 10 lb loss goal for then - blogging randomly about it to motivate me and keep me accountable.

I walked this morning. Took the babies in the wagon and Grace rode her bike. It was refreshing and sweaty! Ech, sweating is not my favorite thing to do.

I'm on a mission. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

I am on a mission too. But my loss is a lot bigger than that! I am going back to my diet I was on for gestational diabetes! I am going to watch my carbs and eat lots of veggies! I have been exercising but I need to take time to go out walking by myself in the evenings. I can go much faster! Its fun to walk with the kids but then we get sidetracked and what not. I need a wagon! We only have strollers!

Holly, I have a great diet you should try. I hesitate calling it a diet because it really just teaches you to go back to the basics. A friend of mine did it with me and we both lost almost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. Her sister lost over 40 lbs on it. She was obviously on the diet longer. Even though it sounds like you lose it fast it is a safe healthy way to lose it. I'll email it to you later if you want to try it out.

Use Brian's ipod. Upload your favorite tunes. I found too, if you do something besides, but on top of activity with the kids, it's much more beneficial. Like jogging or walking alone, so you can be at a pace that is useful. ALONE, I know that in itself must be a challenge for you! Do you still have your elliptical? I lost 25 pounds doing that and lifting a bit. Anyways! I'll pray the Lord gives you the dicipline needed. WE have made some changesin our home too. Steve and I both have been eating more of the things we should'nt and it's showing a bit.

About Me

My photo
I am the daughter of a King. I am the apple of His eye. In addition, I'm a wife to the most wonderful man in the world - seriously - he puts up with me and loves me no matter what. I am so thankful for Brian! Most importantly, he loves the Lord with all of his heart and is a Godly role model to our children and others. Because of him, I'm a mom to four wonderful children - Ezra who's almost 9, Grace is 7, Elliana is 3 and Isaac who was a year on April 18. Life is a crazy whirlwind full of unexpected turns. This blog is to stay close to many friends and family throughout the US.
